Get ready for three full days and nights of non-stop reef fishing action. The Triple Takedown takes you up to 70 nautical miles offshore, fishing prime reef systems along the way before working wider and returning back. Designed for those who want serious time on the water without committing to a full week, this trip is all about big fish and unforgettable moments.

Departures are scheduled as per our calendar and leave from Breakwater Marina, Townsville.

Fishing Overview

We begin fishing around 40 nautical miles out and continue further to 70 nautical miles, then work our way back. Travel time to the first fishing ground is approximately 3.5 hours. On this trip, you’ll be targeting species such as Red Emperor, Large Mouth Nannygai, Coral Trout, Red Throat Emperor, Cod, Spanish Mackerel, Giant Trevally, and Dogtooth Tuna.

Fishing Grounds

Expect to fish iconic locations like the Continental Shelf, Broadhurst Reef, Arab Reef, Chicken Reef, and Fore and Aft Reef.

This is no rough-it trip. Enjoy:

Day 1 (4PM) – Depart Townsville and settle in with a sunset session on the rubble for Red Emperor and Trout

Days 2–6 – Chase pelagics by day, fish deep reefs by night, and explore remote fishing grounds along the Continental Shelf

Day 7 (4PM) – Return to Townsville with coolers full and memories made
